Special Offerings from Our Parish
Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD)
The Episcopal Relief and Development is the international relief and development agency of the Episcopal Church of the United States, guided by the Episcopal Church’s principles of compassion, dignity, and generosity as we work to heal a hurting world.
To learn more about the work supported by donations visit the ERD website.
Note that there is a special fund to direct donations to relief work in Haiti. All can respond to the needs of the Haitian people with gifts to the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund.
United Thank Offering (UTO)
UTO boxThe United Thank Offering is a program of the Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole Church, founded by and administered by women since 1889. The United Thank Offering Board is a spiritual and financial partner in the mission work of the Episcopal Church, through every person in every pew. UTO is entrusted to promote thank offerings, to receive the offerings, and to distribute the United Thank Offering monies through grants.
Our little blue boxes were filled generously for the fall and spring ingatherings!

Flowers and Greens for the Sanctuary
Our sanctuary is decorated with fresh flowers throughout the year, given to the Glory of God and usually in memory of a loved one or in thanksgiving for a special occasion. At Christmas, we add garlands of greens and poinsettias, and at Easter, spring flowers and bulbs, to commemorate the season. Only during the penitential seasons is the church left in simplicity. Gifts for flowers may be given by contacting the altar guild or the office.
Gifts may also be made to the Memorial Garden or to help with the flower garden of summer blossoms used for the altar flowers.
Memorial Gifts to the Church
Offering a legacy to the church in the form of an item to enhance worship or a fund to support the work of the church is an appropriate and meaningful way to honor those we love. Please speak to the Rector about your interest in making a gift.
This wonderful overnight summer camp for youth is a part of the Diocese of Maine. Camp Bishopswood is located on Lake Magundicook in the town of Hope in Mid-Coast Maine. Through support of the Kelly MacKensie Fund and other donations, we support scholarships for the youth of our parish to attend one or more sessions of the camp. Parishioners have also helped with funds for the major project this year of replacing the septic and water systems at Camp Bishopswood. See more at Camp Bishopswood.
